Karen (Sheilds) Knight, age 62 of Augusta, GA, formerly of McKeesport, died August 17, 2017 at home in Georgia.  Born January 16, 1955 in McKeesport, she was the daughter of the late Everett and Gertrude (Miller) Sheilds and wife of Jarvis C. Knight, Sr.  Karen worked as a Nurse’s Aide at Briarcliff Nursing Home and then went on to raise her children and grandchildren.  She loved her grandchildren dearly.  In addition her husband, she is survived by children, Billie Jo Eastman, Eric (Danielle) Demeri, and Ruth; grandchildren, Nick, Chelsea, Melissa, Derek, Eric, Butters, Ian, Owen, and Eli; siblings, William, Mary Ellen, Bethany, and Timothy.  She was preceded in death by brothers, Clinton and Luke.  Family and friends will be received at Jaycox-Jaworski Funeral Home & Crematory on Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m.  The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, 10 a.m. in the funeral home chapel.  Burial will follow at Mt.
