Betty H. Snyder, age 90, of Rockledge, FL, formerly of McKeesport, PA, died November 6, 2017, at Huntington Place Care Center. Born June 21, 1927, in McKeesport, she was the daughter of the late Paul J. and Ethel Anna (Dodds) Smith and the wife of the late Clarence L. "Tubby" Snyder.

Betty was retired from the McKeesport Area School District, where she worked as the assistant cook. Betty was a member of the Kephart United Methodist Church. She enjoyed drives to the mountains, it truly gave her peace of mind. She is survived by her children, Bonnie Minyon of Ligonier, Barbara McDonald of McKeesport, Patricia (Regis) Burket of Reisterstown, MD and Karen (Richard) Austin of Rockledge, FL; 11 grand children; 10 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; brother, James A. Smith of Silver Springs, FL; also many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, Betty was preceded in death by a grandson, Regis "Rocky" Burket, IV and son-in-law Francis McDonald. Family and friends will be received at Jaycox-Jaworski Funeral Home & Crematory on Sunday, November 12, 2017, from 1 to 3 p.m.. A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 13 at 10 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Pastor Chandler Wolf will officiate. Burial will follow in Jefferson Memorial Park.
