Obituaries | The Tube City Almanac | November 27, 2017
Marie Roberta Marlene Suncine, age 74, of North Huntingdon, died Nov. 24, 2017, at Concordia of Monroeville. Born, Feb. 23, 1943, in Wilkinsburg, she was the daughter of the late Robert H. and Ruth M. (McKay) Wilson and the wife of the late Ronald P. Suncine.
Known to many as "Bobbie", she graduated from McKeesport High School. Married in 1961, she was a supportive Marine Corp wife, moving about the country as her husband's service required, staying with him until his death this past August. She was proud of her achievement as a Certified Nurses Aid and worked at Briarcliff Pavilion and Forbes Hospital.
Bobbie was a spiritual woman whose love for Jesus never wavered. Loving, kind and thoughtful to her family and friends, she strived to always do her best, and often, surprised people and strangers with unexpected acts of kindness. She supported and greatly loved her daughters' partners, Robin Maxwell and Beth Ann Dietzer.
She enjoyed caring for many pets and birds over the years. She taught her daughters how to see the beauty in nature, backyard animals and flowers - especially Day Lilies. She loved singing and dancing with her children and of course, Neil Diamond.
She was strong willed, fiercely stoic and consistently represented old fashioned values.
Bobbie was like a blowing willow in her gracefulness, a fall breeze when her children needed her, and fresh rain in times of troubles. She touched many people with her spiritually based outlook and sweetness.
She will be profoundly and lovingly missed. Her love will guide her children and forever reside deep within them.
She is survived by her daughters, Vanessa Marie and Tanis Lynn. She was preceded in death by son, Ronald Peter Jr. and brother, Wade Wilson.
Family and friends will be received at Jaycox-Jaworski Funeral Home on Tuesday, from 10 a.m. until the time of funeral service at 1 p.m. Interment will follow at McKeesport & Versailles Cemetery.
Going forward in her memory, please donate to your local animal shelter. Condolences and memories may be shared at Jaycox-Jaworskifh.com
