Gertrude Marie Kane, 79, of Allison Park, passed away on Wednesday, November 14, 2018. She was born January 28, 1939 in Port Vue and was the daughter of the late Oscar and Elizabeth (Fencik) Metz.  She was predeceased by her husband, James P. Kane. She worked as an executive secretary for over 35 years for Alcoa and remained an active and enthusiastic member of the Alcoa Retirees Club.  Gertrude had a great zest for life and loved to travel, especially to Aruba and Hawaii. She was the life of a party and her spirit will be missed by many.

  She was a volunteer at St. Margaret’s and was a member of St.Ursula Parish in Allison Park.  She is survived by her daughter, Linda (Imler) and her husband, Bruce Neal of Duxbury, MA, and sister, Dolores Johnston of North Huntingdon. There is no visitation. Funeral service will be held Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at 11:00 am in the Chapel of Mount Vernon Cemetery in Elizabeth Township.  The Rev. Vincent P.
