Shirley Orr, 82, of North Huntingdon, passed away Wednesday, November 21, 2018. She was born August 20, 1936 in Pittsburgh, a daughter of the late Ralph and Nellie Hempel Kimmel. Prior to her retirement, Shirley was a food service prep for Isalys, Marriott and Kerber's, and was a homemaker and loved to cook. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Richard Orr Sr.; daughter, Vickie Suggars; and brothers, Ralph and Howard. She is survived by her son, Richard Jr. (Catherine); daughter, Shirley Favero ( Tony); sister, Betty Meloney; four grandchildren, Jessica, Lindsay, Richard III, Mackenzie; four great- grandchildren, Nicholas, Brianna, Rylee and Carson. Friends will be received at the James W. Shirley Funeral Home, 176 Clay Pike, North Huntingdon, Pa., on Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Monday at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel.
