Sue W. Drescher, age 84, of Coulter, passed away Sunday, April 17, 2016 at her home. She was born October 17, 1931 in McKeesport, PA, a daughter of the late Frank and Betty Gault Boden. Prior to her retirement, Sue was an assembler for FEMCO Electric and a charter member of Christ United Methodist Church, North Huntingdon. Sue was a 62 year charter member of the Coulter Vol. Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary, and treasurer of Coulter Vol. Fire Department for 25 years. She enjoyed crossword puzzles and ceramics. On March 16, 2016, she and her husband celebrated their 65th Wedding Anniversary.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Clyde Boden. She is survived by her loving husband, Orville Drescher; son, Kenneth Drescher and his wife, Margaret; daughter, Cynthia Lewand; brothers, David Boden, Randy Boden (Shirley Johnson); four grandchildren, Jennifer (Walter) Hayton, Jason Drescher (Lauryl), Alycia and Stewart Lewand; three great-grandchildren, Jason Tyler and Emma Drescher, and Amanda Steban. Friends will be received on Wednesday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the James W. Shirley Funeral Home, 176 Clay Pike, North Huntingdon, PA. A funeral service will be held on Thursday at 11 a.m. in the Christ United Methodist Church, North Huntingdon. PLEASE GO DIRECTLY TO THE CHURCH. Interment will be private.
