Frederick H. Wintermyer, age 79, of North Huntingdon, died May 31, 2019, at home. Born August 1, 1939, in McKeesport, he was the son of the late Harry and Ann (Kaminsky) Wintermyer and the husband of Patricia (Walker) Wintermyer.

Fred was owner and operator of Photography by Frederick. He also worked for the former Murray Automotive of McKeesport and managed the Sunoco Fuel Station of Brookline. He was a US Army veteran serving during peacetime. Fred was a member of the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church and the CSLA. He had a passion for photographing birds, painting statues and loved crafts of all kinds. He was also a Pittsburgh Steeler football fan and had an amazing movie collection. His greatest joy was spending time with his wife and children.
In addition to his wife, Fred is survived by his children, Jeffrey of North Versailles and Patrick of White Oak; grandson, Noah of North Huntingdon; brothers, Edward (Bonnie) of Rochester and James (Sherrie) of SC; also nieces and nephews. He was also preceded in death by a son Gregory; mother-in-law, Josephine Walker; sister-in-law, Joan Walker; brother-in-law, Richard Walker.
Family and friends will be received at Jaycox-Jaworski Funeral Home & Crematory on Wednesday, June 5, 2019, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. A blessing service will be celebrated on Thursday, 10 a.m., in the funeral home chapel. Burial will follow in New St. Joseph Cemetery.
