Karen Louise Boes, 63, of North Huntingdon, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, July 2, 2019. She was born March 8, 1956 in Johnstown, daughter of the late Robert and Elizabeth (Daley) Miller. Karen was a graduate of Richland High School and a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church. She enjoyed cooking, baking and oil painting and loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was a fan of Ellen DeGeneres and had the opportunity to attend the show in December of 2011 with her daughter Christy. Karen was known for her generosity and gave to many charities. In addition to her parents, Karen was preceded in death by her grandparents, Francis and Laura Daley; and sister, Judith Drosjack. She is survived by her loving husband of 45 years, Richard Boes; sons, Mike Boes and his wife, Tracey, Nick Boesand his girlfriend Erica; daughter, Christy Mowerand her parnter Brenda; brother, Robert Miller and his wife, Denise; and grandchildren, Abigail, Bailey, Sandra, Tristan and Mason. There will be no visitation as per Karen's wishes. The family will hold a private memorial service on the ocean to celebrate Karen's life.
