Jean Suhy,  88, of McKeesport, passed away Friday, December 6, 2019. She was born March 10, 1931 in McKeesport and was the daughter of the late Stanley  and Wilma (Markus) Smolnicky, Sr.  Jean had worked for White Oak Bowl and the former Western Pennsylvania Humane Society in Elizabeth Township.

She is survived by her daughters, Suzanne  (Vincent) Mesiarik-Golik of Elizabeth Township and Paula (Glenn) Hickman and Barbara Krepp of Niles, OH, son, James (Scott Steele) Suhy of Gibsonia, brother, Stanley Smolnicky, Jr.,  of White Oak, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, a great-great-grandchild, and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son, John Vincent Suhy and sister, Doris McCarthy. There is no visitation. Private service will be held at the  Mount Vernon Cemetery in Elizabeth Township.
