James A. McGinty,  84, of Greenock, formerly of Murrysville, passed away Tuesday, December  24, 2019. He was born January 12, 1935 in East Pittsburgh and was the son of the late Eugene and Mary  (Stuckey) McGinty. He was the husband of the late Donna Mae (Hunphreys) McGinty who passed away March 29, 2002. James was a retired Engineer for US Steel. He was a graduate of East Pittsburgh High School, Penn State University, and Robert Morris University. He was a US Army Veteran and was a member of the Plum Creek/Monroeville F & AM Lodge # 799.

He is survived by a niece, Michele (Jeffrey) Heinichen and nephew, Michael (Heather) Johnson of Greenock, great-niece, Nicole Heinichen, and great-nephews, Jeffrey and Matthew Heinichen and Brandon and Tyler Johnson. There is no visitation. Service with Military Honors will be held Saturday, December 28, 2019 at 12 noon at the McKeesport and Versailles Cemetery Mausoleum, McKeesport. The Rev.
