Obituaries | The Tube City Almanac | April 17, 2020
Robin Bush, 56, born November 28, 1963 to the late Carl Bush and Shirley Ballard, departed this life on April 11, 2020 at UPMC. Robin was raised in Clairton from a young age and was a 1982 graduate of Clairton High School. She went on to obtain a BA degree in Fashion Design with a minor in Accounting from IUP. Robin, known to those who loved her as “Shake” lived her life to the fullest. She was forever encouraging her family and friends to do the same. She was a fabulous and devoted mother to her sons, Miles and VJ. She was a daughter, cousin, friend, confident, and guider to many. Robin was a fighter.
Shake loved to travel. After graduating college, she lived in many different cities and states; from California to Maryland and Washington, D.C. She loved the excitement of the city life. She never stopped loving the city of Clairton, for it was always her home. Shake loved fashion. She was the sweetest diva one could ever be in the company of. Always looking her finest, she was sharp and always together. A woman of many layers, she was a giving person, willing to help anyone. She loved her family. She coordinated the gatherings and had no problem letting you know why you should attend!
Robin loved being able to work. She never let anything stand in the way of her talent in Accounting. Over the years, she worked at prestigious companies such as NCA, Bayer, to name a few. It was rare to see her with just one job at a time. She was an amazing person and a woman of faith. Her favorite scriptures can be found in the book of Psalms 17:7, 36:7, and 55:8.
Robin leaves behind a voice that will continue to be heard, a smile that will shine through the darkest of times, and a gift of wisdom she leaves to her sons, so they know she is always with them, Miles Allen and Vernon Clark, Jr. of Pittsburgh; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
PRIVATE VISITATION AND MEMORIAL WILL BE CONDUCTED WITH FAMILY AT ROBERT A. WATERS FUNERAL HOME.
