Dominic C. Trapani, 90, of Ross Township, formerly of Penn Hills, died Thursday, May 21, 2020. He was born June 25, 1929, in Pittsburgh and was the son of the late Vincent James and Antoinette (Scapes) Trapani.

Dominic was a proud US Army Veteran, who served in the Korean War. He was owner of MDM Financial Services for several years until his retirement in 2010.  In his earlier years, he worked for Prudential and American General.

His passions were traveling and gambling, several casinos worldwide can attest to this.  He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Patricia (Konopelski) Trapani, daughters, Marybeth (John) Hanasewych, Michelle (Mike) Harper, and Maria (Bill) Goman and son, Michael (Nancy) Trapani. He was the devoted grandfather to Patrick Hanasewych, Matt and Meghan Harper, Kelly Trapani, Katie McKelvy and Nick, Samantha and Tim Goman.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Joseph Trapani, Mary Mizgorski, Jennie Scaramouche-Zenuch, and Josie Trapani. There will be no visitation and services are private. Arrangements are by the Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 1638 Lincoln Way, White Oak, (412) 672-6322  Troy J. Gilbert, Director. 

Private Inurnment will be held at The National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, Bridgeville.  A Celebration of Life will be held later this year.
