Michael L. Hrizo, age 69 of Port Vue, died August 11, 2020, at UPMC McKeesport. Born March 22, 1951, in McKeesport, he was the son of the late Michael and Laura (Pobojeski) Hrizo and the husband of Cynthia (Spiegel) Hrizo.

Michael retired from Tube City Inc in West Mifflin. He was a United States Navy veteran serving during the Vietnam war. Michael was a member of Saint Eugene Parish formally Saint Mark Parish in Liberty Boro. He was a previous member of the AMVETS in McKeesport. Michael enjoyed going fishing, collecting items made of brass and learning how to use a computer. Most of all, he loved to spend time with his family.
In addition to his wife he is survived by his children, Melissa (Joseph) Villafania of Baldwin, Michael (Ashley) Hrizo of Charleston, SC and Michelle Hrizo of Squirrel Hill; grandchildren, Briella and Dean; siblings, Joseph (Maria) Hrizo of McKeesport and Lory (George) Husar of West Mifflin; sister-in-law, Deb Boyce of Ormond Beach, FL; cousins, nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will be received at Jaycox-Jaworski Funeral Home & Crematory on Tuesday September 1, 2020 from 2 pm until the time of the blessing service at 4 pm. Inurnment will be in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies at a later date.
