Mary Jane Ukasik, 79, of White Oak, died Sunday, July 3, 2016. She was born March 3, 1937 in McKeesport and was the daughter of the late James and Matilda Zacker Bollas. She was wife of the late Carl W. "Uke" Ukasik, Sr., who died September 12, 2000. They were married for 45 years. Mary Jane was a member of Corpus Christi Catholic Church and was retired from The Oaks in White Oak.

She had previously worked for US Steel National Tube Works, US Steel Christy Park Works, and AMI in Delmont. She is survived by her sons, Carl Ukasik Jr., of Erie and Joseph (Nancy) Ukasik of McKeesport, daughter, Kimberly (Mark) Fiorino of Frackville, brothers, Robert (Larae) Bollas of White Oak, James (Donna ) Bollas of Elizabeth Township, and Richard (Carol) Bollas of Coco Beach, FL, sister, Theresa Popojas of Port Vue, grandchildren, Dylan, Matthew, Sabrina, and Christopher Ukasik, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son, Stanley John Ukasik, and sisters, Marilyn Lopretto, Caroline Grimm and Norma Cross. Friends are welcome Wednesday July 6 from 10:00 am - 12 noon at the Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 1638 Lincoln Way, White Oak. (412-672-6322) Troy J. Gilbert, Director. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the Corpus Christi Catholic Church on Wednesday July 6 at 12:30 pm, with The Rev. Michael Maranowski, officiating.
