John Charny, 97, of McKeesport, passed away on October 24, 2020 in UPMC McKeesport after a long illness.

He was born in McKeesport and was the son of the late Mihal and Anna Carni. He was a veteran of World War II serving in the army. He was retired from US Steel National Tube Works. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Friday, October 30, 2020 at 11am in St. Nicholas Byzantine Church. Burial will follow in St. Nicholas Cemetery. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the William H. Craig Funeral Home Inc. 3000 Versailles Ave., McKeesport, PA 15132.
