Janet A. Thompson, age 84, of North Huntingdon, died November 2, 2020, at UPMC Shadyside.  Born April 22, 1936, in Depew, NY, she was the daughter of the late Barney and Ann (Brandys) Jeziorski and the beloved wife of Paul F. Thompson for 65 years.

Janet retired from McKeesport Candy Company and worked in accounting as a bookkeeper.  She was an avid reader and could be found working in her garden, tending to flowers and growing vegetables.  She loved to come up with recipes and cook for her family.  She also enjoyed family trips, especially to the beach in the Outer Banks.  In addition to her husband Paul, she is survived by children, Douglas Thompson and Anne (Andrew) Dunmire, grandchildren, Hannah and Calvin Dunmire, and a brother, Brian Jeziorski.  A private memorial service was held at Jaycox-Jaworski Funeral Home & Crematory.  Condolences and memories may be shared at www.jaycox-jaworskifh.com.  Memorial contributions are suggested to the Norwin Public Library 100 Caruthers Ln.
