Brian J. "Doc" Dougherty, age 50, of McKeesport, died October 28, 2020, in West Virginia. Born October 20, 1970, in McKeesport, he was the son of James (Judy Meighen) Dougherty and the late Sandra (Karabin) Dougherty and his life partner and companion Shanna Richter.
Doc was currently working Eby-Brown of West Mifflin. He was a member of the PNA 352 Social Club of McKeesport. Doc loved all sports, from playing baseball in his early years to currently supporting the McKeesport Tigers Football Team. It didn't matter what sport; he loved and supported them all. He was indeed the definition of a Good Old McKeesport Boy. If you were near him, it wouldn't take long for you to hear, "What's up, Doc?" He will be greatly missed by all that knew him.
In addition to his father and companion, Doc is survived by his daughter, Morgan Dougherty of Manor; step-children, T.J., Karley, and Jenna; sister, Michelle Tanney of Bethel Park; step-sisters, Crystal Pastories and Tammy Hilario; aunt, Roberta Thomas; nephews, Nicholas Denne and Joshua Tanney; niece, Carly Tanney; cousins, Christine Warhola, Greg Thomas, and Wendy Lego.
Family and friends will be received at Jaycox-Jaworski Funeral Home & Crematory on Saturday, November 14, 2020, from 2 p.m. until the time of memorial service at 4 p.m., in the funeral home chapel.
