Richard Restagno, age 77 of West Mifflin, passed away on Tuesday, November 24, 2020 at UPMC McKeesport. Born March 29, 1943 in Avella, he was a son of the late Frank D. and Josephine (Salen) Restagno. He worked for his family's grocery store, Restagno Market and  owned game rooms in Clairton. Richard also worked for South Hills Disposal, Allstar Cadillac, and Arnoni Development. He was a member of Triumph of the Holy Cross (Holy Spirit Catholic Church) and a 46 year member of the Elks.

Richard is survived by his loving wife Susan (Horwat) Restagno; several nieces and nephews; and in-laws Regina Horwat of Verona, Larry and Anna Marie Millinder of Johnstown, and Stephen and Alyce Horwat of Lewis Center, OH. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by siblings Lena Messina, Rose Marie "Tootsie", Vincent, Francis "Sonny," and Therease Restagno. Friends will be received at the A.J. Bekavac Funeral Home, Clairton, on Saturday, November 28, 2020 from 9 AM to 10:30 AM. Masks are required; CDC and State guidelines will be observed; and social distancing will be enforced on funeral home property  A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Saturday, November 28, 2020 at 11 AM at Triumph of the Holy Cross, Holy Spirit site. Entombment will follow at Lebanon Church Mausoleum, West Mifflin. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be sent to The American Cancer Society, SW Region 320 Bilmar Drive Pittsburgh, PA 15205, Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank, 1 North Linden Street Duquesne, PA 15110, and Salvation Army Bundle Up, 700 North Bell Avenue, Carnegie, PA 15106.
