Robert S. White, Jr., age 79, of White Oak, died November 26, 2020, at home. Born December 7, 1940, in McKeesport, he was the son of the late Robert S. and Margaret (Linderman) White and the husband of Barbara (Morgan) White.

Robert was a retired United Methodist Pastor serving the former Fourth St. Methodist Church of Braddock and the Swissvale Methodist Church. He was also a millwright who worked at US Steel Duquesne Works. In his early years, he worked at the Cleveland YMCA. Robert also traveled the world with the PEC (Pennsylvania Engineering Corp.) and the Tai-Pan International Incorporated, overseeing the dismantling and reconstruction of electric arc furnaces. He was a graduate of McKeesport High School and the Western Reserve University, where he was a member of the Alpha Nu Chapter of Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity. He was also past President of the White Oak Athletic Association and a member of the Butler's Golf Association. Robert was an avid baseball enthusiast, golfer, hunter, fisherman, and enjoyed beach life.
In addition to his wife Barbara, he is also survived by his sons, Scott (Katrina Kivi) White of Plymouth, MA, and Timothy (Jodi) White of Elizabeth; grandchildren, Hailey, Zachary, Matthew, and Maura.
Family and friends will be received at Jaycox-Jaworski Funeral Home & Crematory on Thursday, December 3, 2020, from 2 p.m. until the time of memorial service at 4 p.m., in the funeral home chapel. Pastor William Meekins will officiate.
