Delfonte Devon Carter, 48, was born July 14, 1972, in McKeesport.  The beloved son of the late Audrey Spencer Carter departed this life on December 4, 2020, at Pennwood Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

A kind gentle soul, Devon, considered everyone a friend.  He was always willing to help someone with his physical strength.  He was an avid Steelers fan who loved sports in general.  A self-professed chef, Devon enjoyed cooking and experimenting with new recipes.  He also enjoyed life according to his own terms.  He was resourceful and reserved who loved to chuckle, even at the silliest of things.

Delfonte is survived by his sister, Francene Ross of Valrico, FL; brother, Frank Ross of Phoenix, AZ; nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

Interment was private. Arrangements were in charge of Robert A. Waters Funeral Home, Inc.
