Irene F. Knox, 94, of Elizabeth Township, passed away Saturday, December 19, 2020. She was born January 5, 1926 in Blythedale and was the daughter of the late Deano Ferrari and the late Bessie (Martinelli) Ferrari Brunory. She was the wife of the late James Knox. Irene owned and operated a beauty shop in West Newton for over 50 years. She enjoyed dancing, gardening and being a hairdresser.

She is survived by her sister, Sara Allen, sister-in-law, Arlene Brunory, and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her brother, Harry "Buzz" Brunory. Family visitation and funeral services are private with interment in the West Newton Cemetery, West Newton.
