Daryl M. Bowen, age 92, of White Oak, died December 30, 2020, at William Penn Care Center. Born November 15, 1928, in McKeesport, she was the daughter of the late John P. and Gladys M. (Jones) Mooney and the wife of the late William C. Bowen, Sr. for 58 years.
Daryl retired from the former Equibank of White Oak and, prior Westinghouse Atomic Plant of West Mifflin. She was a Graduate of McKeesport High School Class of 1946 and in the High School Choir. She was a graduate of Robert Morris Business School. Daryl was a member of the Calvary-First United Methodist Church of McKeesport, where she was in the United Methodist Women's Group. She was also a member of the Garden Club, and the Youghiogheny Country Club, where she played tennis. She also enjoyed singing in the high school choir ,church choir and Valley Voices singing group, dining out and traveling with her family.

Daryl is survived by Wendy (Gary) Nowading of North Versailles, Cindy (late John) Giammario of North Versailles, William C. (Kari) Bowen, Jr. of Wexford; grandchildren, Jennifer (Ron) Marecic, Amy Knezovich, Kristopher (Julie) Nowading, William Bosanac, Melissa (Justin) Kiste, William B. Bowen, Ian Bowen, Ellinor Bowen, Zane Bowen; great-grandchildren, Maxwell, Camden, Frank, Megan, Rylan, Abram, Elin, Bridget, Kellan, Kristopher, Gabriella, and Liam; also nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was also preceded in death by her brothers, Don Hunter Mooney, and Wade R. Mooney.
Family and friends will be received at Jaycox-Jaworski Funeral Home & Crematory, on Tuesday, January 5, 2021, from 2 p.m. until the time of service at 6 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Pastor William Meekins will officiate. Committal prayers and burial will take place on January 12, 2021, in the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies, at 12:30 p.m. 
Family and friends are welcome to join the procession leaving from the funeral home at 11:30 a.m.
