Kaye Merrell Whirl, 82, of White Oak, passed away Monday, January 11, 2021. She was born July 4, 1938 in Idaho Falls, Idaho and was the daughter of the late Dr. Ralph Rees Merrell, MD, and the late Lilly Viola (Morganegg) Merrell. She was the wife of the late J. Neil Domgaard who passed away in 1977. She was a member of Faith Lutheran Church in White Oak and was a graduate of the University of Utah with a Bachelor of Science Degree. Kaye was a retired teacher and had taught 2nd and 3rd grade at Meadow Moor Elementary School in Salt Lake City, Utah for over 30 years.
She is survived by her daughter, Lisa Ansley and her husband Richard of Salt Lake City, and sisters, Joan Reed of Pocatello, Idaho, and Lynn Detweiler of Seattle, Washington. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Kirsten "Keeta" Procter, and brothers-in-law, Gregg Detweiler and Bob Reed. There is no visitation.
