Nancy Jean Washowich, 80, of Plum, formerly of McKeesport, passed away Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at home. She was born September 19, 1940 in McKeesport and was the daughter of the late James and Mary (Gwosden) Sucha.  She was the wife of 62 years to the late Milan Samuel Washowich, who passed away August 26, 2020.   Nancy was a former member of St. Sava Serbian Orthodox Church. She was a member and past treasurer of the Port Vue Seniors and a poll watcher for Port Vue for elections. She was an avid bingo player, an excellent cook and loved to play cards and board games with her grandchildren and also attend their baseball and softball games.

She is survived by daughter, Kristi (Louis J.) Bellisario of Plum, son, Rick L. Washowich of Port Vue, grandchildren, Eric S. and Keri N. Bellisario of Plum, niece, Kathy (Daniel Sr.) Minnicks of Liberty Boro, nephew, Doug (Lisa) Menzies of Port Vue, great-nephew, Dan Minnicks Jr., great-niece, Jessica (Steve) Hess, grand dogs, Bella and Ash and great-grand dog, Petunia.  In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by son, Scott Lee Washowich, sister, Madaline (the late Donald) Menzies and nephew, Timothy Menzies.  Friends are welcome from Sunday, January 24, from 2:00- 7:00 pm at the Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 1638 Lincoln Way, White Oak (412) 672-6322 Troy J. Gilbert, Director.  (MASKS AND SOCIAL DISTANCING REQUIRED).  Funeral service  will be held Monday, January 25 at 11:00 am in the funeral home chapel with The Very Rev. Stevan Rocknage, officiating.
