Dr. Lawrence L. Lyons, 82, of Hempfield Township died April 14, 2021 at UPMC McKeesport. He was born February 8, 1939 in McKeesport, son of the late George and Anna Margaret (Shoop) Lyons. Dr. Lyons was a member of St. Agnes Church, North Huntingdon. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Richard Lyons (Loretta), two sisters, Shirley Lewis (Kenneth) and Barbara Aranos.  He began his career as an Emergency Room physician at UPMC McKeesport and eventually opening his own family practice in White Oak, spanning a career of over 30 years.  He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, St. Agnes Mens Club and a veteran of the U.S. Marines. Larry enjoyed skiing, golfing and family vacations.

He is survived by his beloved wife Patricia (Rajecki) Lyons of 52 years, two sons, Thomas (Darcy) and Matthew (friend Anita Garcia), two daughters, Kristen Haugh (Paul), and Jennifer Skalican (James) as well as 11 grandchildren, Juno, Haley, Rachel, Alexis , Jesse, Brianna, Caitlyn, Cole, and triplets Emma, Austen, and Gavin.  Friends will be received at the James Shirley Funeral Home on Sunday from 2-4 p.m and 6-8 p.m.  A funeral mass will be held Monday at 10 a.m. at St. Agnes Church North Huntingdon. Memorial donations in lieu of  flowers  may be made to St. Jude's Hospital.
