Daniel Patrick Miller, age 75 of McKeesport, passed away at home on Friday, April 30, 2021.  Born February 26, 1946 in McKeesport, he was a son of the late Patrick C. and Alberta (McClure) Miller.  A retired steelworker at US Steel National Tube Works in McKeesport who also was a co-owner of Mr. Chips Cafe in the Pittsburgh Courthouse and served as a pit crew member for Chip Ganassi's Formula 4 racing team.  He was also a US Navy Veteran, serving during the Vietnam War, a member and past commander of the American Legion Post # 577 of McKeesport, a scuba diver, and avid Steelers fan.  Daniel is survived by his sisters Kathleen (Ray) Takacs of North Huntingdon and Patricia (Chuck) Evans of Broken Arrow, OK, his brothers Ken (Patricia) Miller of Lisbon, OH and Thomas (Susan) Miller of Maumee, OH, and also nieces and nephews.  

Friends will be received in the Daniel F. Bekavac Funeral Home and Crematory, 4504 Walnut St., Versailles Borough, McKeesport, PA 15132 (412-678-3454) on Friday, May 7, 2021 from 9 AM until 11 AM, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 12 Noon in Immaculate Conception Parish, Irwin with Fr. John Moineau officiating.  In order to comply with COVID-19 restrictions, guests are required to wear masks and follow CDC social distancing guidelines.  The family would like to express their understanding to those who are unable to attend due to the COVID-19 pandemic.  Procession and burial with military honors will follow in Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Irwin.  www.bekavacfuneralhome.com
