Gene A. "Ted" Wirth, age 81 of North Huntingdon died May 29, 2021 at his home. He was born October 10,1939 in Washington, D.C., a son of the late George and Bernadette Plummer Wirth. Prior to his retirement, Ted was employed as a technical specialist by Xerox. He was a long time and active member of the Linway United Presbyterian Church, North Versailles. Ted enjoyed old radio programs, bike riding, cross country traveling and family time. He also served on the board of the Grandview Cemetery, North Versailles. He is survived by his beloved wife Linda Schriver, two sons, Jeffrey (Leslie) Wirth, Greg (Linnea) Wirth, 8 grandchildren Ian (Samantha), Quinn, Abigail (Randy), Mackenzie (Dilan), Hunter, Paityn, Gage, Titan, two grandchildren, Ariah, Ayla. Friends will be received at the James W. Shirley Funeral Home, 176 Clay Pike, North Huntingdon on Tuesday 2-4, 6-8 p.m. A funeral service will be held Wednesday at 1 p.m. at the Linway United Presbyterian Church.
