Bernard M. Hydak, 62, of North Versailles, passed away peacefully Tuesday, June 1, 2021 at his home.  He was born January 28, 1959 in Pittsburgh, a son of John B. Hydak and the late Anna Marie Kofman Hydak.  Bernie was a lifetime union carpenter for Local Union 432 and in his spare time enjoyed doing carpentry work in his workshop and renovating his home. 

He was a fan of Facebook and enjoyed sharing his sense of humor with all.  He was an avid Pittsburgh Sports fan and loved being with his grandchildren.  

Bernie spent his life dedicated to his girls, grandchildren and his home. 

He is survived by his daughters, Brandi Suranski and her husband, David, Nicollette Ambroziak and her husband, Timothy, and Olivia Weber; brother, Joseph (Darra) Hydak; nephew, Wayne Hydak; grandchildren, Alexander and Anna Marie Nene and Logan and Greyson Weber.

Friends will be received from 2-8 p.m. on Friday at the James W. Shirley Funeral Home, 176 Clay Pike, North Huntingdon, PA.  A funeral service will be held on Saturday at 10 a.m. in the funeral home chapel.  Interment to follow in All Saints Braddock Catholic Cemetery, Pittsburgh.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the COPD Foundation, 3300 Ponce De Leon Blvd, Miami, FL 33134.    www.shirleyfuneralhome.com
