Nancy Helen Ferraton, 65, of West Newton, passed away Thursday, July 15, 2021. She was born June 26, 1956 in Greensburg and was the daughter of Caroline (Trexel) Evans of Monongahela and the late Clyde Evans, Sr. Nancy worked for VFW Post 1812 in West Newton and had previously worked at Jefferson Hills Manor. She was a member of VFW Post 1812 West Newton and the Collinsburg German Club.

In addition to her mother, she is survived by her daughter, Heather J. (Steven) Fitzgibbons, and grandchildren, Dustin and Carly Fitzgibbons of West Newton, sister, Becky (Barry) Ritchie of Fayette City, brothers, Clyde Evans, Jr., of New Hope and Charles "Tim" (Cathy) Evans of Morrisville, cousin and best friend, Linda Beckinger of Fellsburg, special friend, Dean Shoemaker of Elizabeth, nieces, nephews, and her loving dog, Domino. She was preceded in death by her fiancée, Bill Murray. There is no visitation. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date.
