Gregory Edward Cole, 56, died unexpectedly October 25, 2021, due to covid.

He  was born at Magee Hospital, on September 21, 1965. He was one of three children born to proud parents Virginia and Fred Cole. "Greg", as he was affectionately called, attended and graduated from Duquesne High School.

Although his siblings considered Greg to be a "mama's boy", because of his deep devotion to and affection for his mother, Greg enlisted in the United States Armed Forces shortly after graduation, where he served for four years. He was proud of his achievement of being an Army Ranger Squad Leader, as well as being a Unit Armorer with Secret Security Clearance. He left the Army with an Honorable Discharge.

The leadership abilities that Greg learned in the Army paved the way for many of the job opportunities that he sought in Atlanta, Georgia, which became his place of residence. He took advantage of many Continuing Education classes at Clayton State College, where he acquired an Associate Degree in Business Management. Supervision and Production Management were his goals of study.

Once a person came to know Greg, you would see that he was friendly, had a sense of humor, was willing to be helpful, and enjoyed being around people and family. He grew up in the Church of God in Christ, which he attended faithfully until he left Pennsylvania. He gave his life to God while attending St. Paul Non-Denominational Church in Atlanta, Georgia, and it created signs of a definite change in his life.

Greg's sunset occurred unexpectedly, on . He leaves behind to cherish his memory his father, Fred J. Cole; his siblings, Fred Jeffrey Cole and Michelle Cole; grandmother Zella Cole; uncles, James Adams, David Adams, Harvey Cole, Jr. (Elaine); aunties Robnet Loving, Gloria Spencer (Herman), Joyce Henderson, Barbara Hager, and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, and friends.

Friends will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. Nov. 3, 2021, at Tunie Funeral Home, Inc., 218 E. 11th Ave., Homestead, PA 15120, where a service will be held at 11 a.m. Nov. 4. Interment to follow at National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.
