Shirley M. Currey, age 90 of Sandgate, VT and formerly of White Oak, passed away on Sunday, November 28, 2021, at Albany Medical Center. Born January 7, 1931 in Wilmerding, she was a daughter of the late Clark and Stella (Brady) Lockard. Shirley was preceded in death by her husband Arol E. Currey, who passed away on May 7, 2015. She is survived by her daughter Marti (Ron) L. Costa of Sandgate, VT; son Gregory (Rhonda) Currey of Jacksonville, FL; stepson Dalyn (Elizabeth) Currey of New Jersey; sister Karen Bernard of McKeesport; and grandson Christopher (Samantha) Early of Hattiesburg, MS. In addition to her parents and husband, Shirley was preceded in death by her brothers Norman, Lawrence, Kenneth, and William Lockard.

Friends will be received at the Daniel F. Bekavac Funeral Home & Crematory, 4504 Walnut Street, McKeesport, PA 15132 on Sunday, December 5, 2021 from 6 PM to 8 PM. A funeral service will take place on Monday, December 6, 2021 at 10 AM in the Daniel F. Bekavac Funeral Home & Crematory, with Rev. Ronald Calabro officiating.
