Thomas C. Reilly Jr., 74, passed away peacefully Friday, November 26, 2021 in Mesa, Arizona. Formerly from McKeesport, Pa., he was born December 13, 1946, the son of Thomas C. Reilly Sr. and Kathryne (Tyson) Reilly.
Tom served in the U.S. Navy on the aircraft carrier Franklin D. Roosevelt. After leaving the Navy he worked for Pratt & Whitney Aircraft in Connecticut. He moved to Mesa, Arizona, in 1974 and worked for City of Mesa Utility Company.
Tom is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Laura; daughters Katelyn and Carly; sons Joe and Ryan; brother Bill Reilly; and sisters, Toni Weyer and Jan Greco.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Judy Weinberg and Terry Reilly.
Tom came from a large family of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and grandparents who loved him very much. Tom was a good man and made friends with everyone and loved his family.
Toms favorite past times were his computer (Facebook), watching the Pittsburgh Steelers (he came home for Cousins Reunion in 2019 and was determined to ride the Steel Curtain in Kennywood — he did and waited two hours in line), the Arizona Diamondbacks, the Arizona Cardinals and Iron City beer.
