Sophie J. Ferenac, age 96 of Greenock, passed away at home on Saturday, December 11, 2021. Born March 7, 1925 in McKeesport, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Rose (Ziemianski) Novak. Sophia was a billing supervisor for Tube City, Inc. in Glassport. She is survived by her nephew Richard (Diane) Tomkowitz of Boston, PA, and several cousins. Sophie was preceded in death by her husband Joseph Ferenac, who passed away April 27, 2016, and her brothers Louis and Anthony Novak.

Friends will be received at the Daniel F. Bekavac Funeral Home & Crematory, 4504 Walnut St., Versailles Borough, McKeesport, PA 15132 (412-678-3454) on Thursday, December 16, 2021 from 2 PM to 4 PM and 6 PM to 8 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Friday, December 17, 2021 at 11 AM at Holy Family Polish National Catholic Church, McKeesport, with Fr. Bruce Sleczkowski officiating.
