Troy Edward Funk, 73, of Ardara, passed away Saturday, January 15, 2022 at his home. He was born April 6, 1948 in McKeesport, son of the late Luther and Dorothy (Kapostas) Funk. Prior to his retirement, Troy was a truck driver for Norwin Construction and a veteran of the US Navy. He was an active member of Larimer Vol. Fire Dept. and enjoyed camping at Mountain Pines and trips to the casinos. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Richard Funk. He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Donna (DiRinaldo) Funk; sons, Troy Funk and his wife, Becky, Joe Funk and his wife, Kelly; brothers, Robert (Linda), Albert (Sandy) and James (Lynda) Funk; sisters, Marion (Tom) Dillen, Judy (Ken) Varga; grandchildren, Ashlyn (Richard) Manko, Jake (Erin) Funk, Jonathan Funk and Josh Funk; great-grandchildren, Keegan and Ella. A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, January 22, 2022 at the James W. Shirley Funeral Home, 176 Clay Pike, N. Huntingdon, PA 15642.
