Kathy Galasso, age 61, of Liberty Borough, formerly of McKeesport, died February 23, 2022, at UPMC McKeesport Hospital.  Born March 13, 1960, McKeesport, she was the daughter of the late William and Dorothy (Ulakovic) Tauber and wife of Wayne Galasso. 

Kathy formerly worked for Kane and the Senior Care Plaza in McKeesport.  She enjoyed watching hockey and rooting for the Penguins.  Kathy liked to stay active by walking and playing kickball. She dearly cherished her entire family and spending time with her grandkids. 

In addition to her husband Wayne, she is survived by daughters, Christie (Ryan) Pavlovic, Rose Galasso, and Heather (Brian) Bocetti; grandchildren, Kirsten, Jaydon, Rylee, Norah, and Miranda; sister Terri (the late Denny) Ulichnie and she is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Kathy was also preceded in death by siblings, William Tauber, Edward Tauber, Joann Perry, and Darlene Deemer.  
Family and friends will be received at Jaycox-Jaworski Funeral Home & Crematory on Friday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. until the time of the funeral service at 8 p.m.
