Barry Fred Jones, age 64, of White Oak, died June 1, 2022, at UPMC McKeesport Hospital.  Born June 21, 1957, in McKeesport, he was the son of the late Jack and Ethel (Hurst) Jones and the beloved husband of Terri (Swanson) Jones.

Barry was a self-employed contractor who took pride in his work and used his creativity to build many things.  He enjoyed cooking, and everyone always requested his potato salad at family functions.  He cherished his family and family events, and it always broke his heart if he had to miss one.  Barry was an avid Penguins, Steelers, and Pirates fan.  He was fond of music, especially classic rock, and was an avid bowler.  In addition to his wife Terri, Barry is survived by a daughter, Jessica (Sam Sage) Jones; brothers, Russell (Carol  Batista) Jones, Kenneth (Sue) Jones, and Richard Jones; brother-in-law, Kurt (Melissa) Swanson; sister-in-law Sherri (Swanson) Goldbaugh; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and the Hurst cousins.  
Family and friends will be received at Jaycox-Jaworski Funeral Home & Crematory on Monday from 2 p.m. until the funeral service at 6 p.m.  
Please dress casually and, if available, wear a t-shirt of your favorite rock band or from a concert you attended.

Barry loved his orange blossom in his yard; in lieu of flowers, the family asks that you bring a snipping of his favorite flower from your yard or garden.
