Carlene Virginia Richards, 81 of Port Vue, passed away Tuesday, July 12, 2022. She was born July 28, 1940 in Columbus OH, and is the daughter of the late Carl Faulstick, Sr. and the late Sarah (Greene) Faulstick Papich. She was a long time member of Boston Presbyterian before the church closed their doors. She worked for many years as a housekeeper but retired from Riverside Nursing Center in 2005. Carlene loved to play cards, puzzle & word search books, and creating ceramic pieces, but most importantly, she loved sitting on the porch with her husband, Ed, and spending quality time with her family.

She is survived by her husband, just 4 days shy of 62 years, Edwin C. Richards; daughters, Janine (the late Kenneth) Hansen of McKeesport, and Linda Buehrle of Port Vue; grandchildren, Jillian Zaracki, Shauna Hansen, Rich (Cora) Buehrle, Kenneth (Samantha Antonelli) Hansen, Jr., and Justin Buehrle; great-grandchildren, Leo, Willow, and Callie Jo Buehrle, Bryan Hansen-Gantt, and Avery Hansen; sister, Beverly (the late Donnie) Nail of MD; brother, Carl (the late Sandy) Faulstick, Jr. of OH; brother-in-law, Frank Richards, Sr. of White Oak; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and her in-laws, Carlene was preceded in death by her brothers, Ronald Faulstick, and Frank & Stephen Pipich. Friends are welcome Thursday, July 14, 2022 from 2-4 & 6-8pm at the Gilbert Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc. 6028 Smithfield Street, Boston, Elizabeth Township. (412) 751-5000 Drew J.
