Lavino "Beans" Dandrea, age 89 of McKeesport, passed away on Monday, August 1, 2022 in Mountainview Skilled Nursing Home, Greensburg.  Born September 8, 1932 in McKeesport, he was a son of the late Biagio and Angelina (Spaccasassi) Dandrea. A former vice president of Tico Electric in McKeesport and Korean War Veteran of the US Army, Lavino was a member of Mary, Mother of God Parish, St. Patrick's Church of McKeesport.  Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, the late Maryann (Kolic) Dandrea, who passed away January 18, 2018, and his son William Dandrea.   Lavino is survived by his sons Mark (Jane) Dandrea of Monroeville and Vincent (Denise) Dandrea of Irwin; his six grandchildren: Ryan (Taylor) Dandrea, Michael (Anna) Dandrea, Victoria (Benjamin Bugaile) Dandrea, Mark James (Mary) Dandrea, Vincent M. Dandrea, Jr., and Dakota Mary Dandrea; and also nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received in the Daniel F. Bekavac Funeral Home and Crematory, 4504 Walnut St., Versailles Borough, McKeesport, PA 15132 (412-678-3454) on Wednesday, August 3, 2022 from 2 PM to 4 PM and 6 PM to 8 PM.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, August 4, 2022 at 10 AM in Mary, Mother of God Parish, St. Patrick's Church.  Procession and burial will follow to Sacred Heart Cemetery, Port Vue, with military honors.  Memorial contributions in Lavino's name should be made to the White Oak Animal Safe Haven, 2295 Lincoln Way, White Oak, PA 15131.  www.bekavacfuneralhome.com
