Mario  Rossetti, 73, of Elizabeth Township, passed away Thursday, September 15, 2022 at home. He was born July 15, 1949 in Lettopalena, Italy and was the son of the late Crescenzo and Carolina (Martinelli) Rossetti. Mario was retired from US Steel Clairton Works. He was a member of Elizabeth Township Fire Company # 140 since he was 16 years old and was a 1968 graduate of Elizabeth Forward High School.

He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Susan Kay (Makepeace) Rossetti, daughters, Sarah K. (Jason) Pastor of Monroeville and Jill M. Rossetti of Elizabeth Township, sisters, Philomena "Phyllis" Ryan and Maria Rossetti of Mount Vernon, brother, Dominic (Cheryl) Rossetti of Youngwood, grandchildren, Tristan, Ethan and Mia, nieces, nephews, and his dog, Callie.  He was preceded in death by his sister, Lucia Martin, and brother, Guy Rossetti. Friends are welcome Sunday, September 18. 2022 from 2-6 pm at the Gilbert Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc., 6028 Smithfield Street, Boston, Elizabeth Township.(412) 751-5000 Drew J.
