ANTHONY J. SPAGNOLA, 85, of Glassport, passed away peacefully on Sept. 25, 2016.  Born on Oct. 15, 1930, in Borrello, Italy, he was the son of the late Vincent and Lina (DiFiore) Spagnola and step-mother, Christine (Borelli) Spagnola.  Anthony was the beloved husband of Mary (Tarli) Spagnola; loving father of Mary Ann (Russ) Geary of Glassport, Tony (Tina) Spagnola of Parker, CO, Lena (George) Crow of San Diego, CA, and Janet (David) Loy of North Huntington; grandchildren, Russell and Jonathan Geary, Nico Spagnola, Brian and Alyssa Crow and Alexa and Jordan Loy.  He is also survived by brother, Vincent (Janice) Spagnola of Gaithersburg, MD, and sister-in-law, Delores Spagnola.

Anthony was preceded in death by his brother, Felix Spagnola and step-brother, Charles Nicomatti.
Anthony was a retired electrical draftsman for US Steel for over 35 years; a member of Queen of the Rosary Parish; and officer of its St. Vincent DePaul Society, former Cub Scout leader; Lifetime Member of the American Legion Post 443 and served as a Corporal in the US Marines.  
Friends received Wojciechowski Funeral Home, Glassport, Wed. 2-4 and 6-9.  A funeral mass will be held Thurs. 10:00 am at Queen of the Rosary Parish with Rev. Miroslaus Wojcicki.  Interment following New St. Joseph Cemetery.
