Louis J. Knapp, 93, of North Versailles, passed away Wednesday, February 15, 2023. He was born March 10, 1929 in North Braddock a son of the late Louis W. and Mary (Vercelli) Knapp. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by his wife of 67 years Dolores J. Knapp, and brother William Knapp. Louis was a Navy veteran and a member of Plum Creek Masonic Lodge #799. He was an outdoorsman that enjoyed hunting, fishing, and spending time at his camp. He loved his family and spending time with them was important to him. Louis is survived by his children Linda L. (Domenico) DeMarco and Dean A. Knapp; grandchildren Dina (Luigi) Tommasino, Jamie (Michael) Chiappetta, and Loren (Nick) Buchheit; great grandchildren Marco, Serena, Luca, and Lainy; his brother Donald Knapp; also nieces and nephews. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the Forgie-Snyder Funeral Home, 1032 Broadway, East McKeesport, 412-823-8083.
