Richard William Gore, age 75, of Washington, PA, formerly of McKeesport, PA, died on Saturday, January 6, 2024. He was born in Pittsburgh, PA on May 18, 1948 and was the son of the late William and Fern Heath Gore. He was the husband of the late Silvia D’Aloisio Gore, who died on May 27, 2016. Richard was a graduate of Penn Hills High School and Indiana University of Pennsylvania. He proudly served in the United States Army and later retired as a Pennsylvania welfare case worker. He was a history and movie expert and enjoyed reading and collecting books.
He is survived by his son, Randy (Kristen) Gore of Washington, PA; and grand dog, Hank.
In addition to his parents and wife, Richard was preceded in death by his sister, Donna Gore; and beloved cat, Mittens.
Family and friends will gather at Strifflers of White Oak Cremation and Mortuary Services, Inc., 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, PA 15131 (Sue Striffler Galaski, supervisor, 412-678-6177) on Tuesday, January 9, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services at Noon. Entombment will follow.
