Heather Atkinson, 35, of McKeesport died February 29, 2024 at home. Born December 3, 1988 in McKeesport, She was the daughter of John Shumpert and the late Marie Atkinson. She embraced and cherished raising her only son, Eric, who was the light of her life; always keeping a pristine home, cooking everyone's favorite meals, spending time camping, and being at the lake with the ones she loved.

In addition to her father, Heather leaves behind her beloved son, Eric Ellisor; sisters, Cheyenne and Amber Atkinson, both of Pittsburgh; brother, Jesse (Christina) Sturkie of Texas; honorary grandfather, Richard Lane; one niece, one nephew, several aunts, uncles, and cousins, to cherish her memory. She was preceded in death by her mother, Marie Atkinson.
