William Leo “Bill” Spehar, Sr., 79, of Dravosburg, formerly of McKeesport, passed away on Thursday, June 20th, 2024 at U.P.M.C. McKeesport Hospital. He was born in McKeesport on July 9th, 1944 to the late Mathias Spehar and Loretta Vennebush. William was the loving husband of 57 years to his wife Donna J.B. Spehar. In addition to his beloved wife Donna, William is further survived by his children Cynthia Kulha of Dravosburg, Pamela (Todd) McCombs of Dravosburg, William L. (Haze) Spehar Jr. of West Mifflin, grandchildren Jamie, Joshua, Jeremy, Amanda, and Amber, as well as nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, William was preceded in death by his son Michael K. Spehar, siblings Thomas Spehar, and Kathleen Seeman. He was a member of the American Legion, a former councilman, a Cub Scout leader, and a baseball coach. William served his country while being enlisted in the U.S. Navy. He also worked as a U.S. Postal Worker for most of his life. Bill enjoyed collecting oldies' records. Family and friends will be received on Sunday, June 23rd, 2024 from 2 P.M. – 4 P.M. and 6 P.M. – 8 P.M. at I.M FINNEY FUNERAL HOME, 203 4th St, Dravosburg, PA 15034. A service will take place Monday, June 24th, 2024 10:00 A.M. at the funeral home, followed by interment at Richland Cemetery.
