Anthony Zavolta, age 87, of North Versailles, died on Saturday, June 22, 2024. He was born in East Liberty on May 11, 1937 and was the son of the late Frank and Josephine Marmo Zavolta. Anthony started working in sales at various companies and later retired from the North Versailles Township Sanitation Department.
He is survived by his wife, Debra Beck Zavolta ; son, Vince (Denise) Tassone of North Versailles; grandchildren, Evan (Danielle) Tassone; Meghan Harper; Dennis Harper; Taya Tassone; Vincenzo Tassone; Maria Tassone; brother, Joseph (Denise) Zavolta of Allison Park; sister, Eleanor (the late John) Minyo of Cheswick; sister-in-law, Rose Zavolta of Gibsonia; and many nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Anthony was preceded in death by his stepdaughter, Dawn Marie Harper; and brother, Frank Zavolta.
Family and friends will gather at Strifflers of White Oak Cremation and Mortuary Services, Inc., 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, PA 15131 (Sue Striffler Galaski, supervisor, 412-678-6177) on Wednesday, June 26, 2024 from 1:00 p.m. until the time of services at 5:00 p.m.
