R. Janette Woomer Haldeman, age 99 of North Huntingdon, passed away on July 22, 2024, at her home. She was born on October 21, 1924, a daughter of the late Alex J. Levay and Rose E. Wenglarz Levay. Prior to her retirement, Janette was employed as a bookkeeper. She was a member of Edgewood Country Club, and she loved to golf. Janette was an amazing teacher of water skiing, car driving, and ice skating. She also hosted both Brownie and Cub Scout Troops. In addition to her parents, Janette was preceded in death by her first husband, James E. Woomer, her second husband, John H. Haldeman, and her sister Eleanor. She is survived by her son, Jerry Woomer (Delia), and daughter Colleene Woomer. In accordance with Janette's wishes, there will be no public visitation. James W.
