Patricia J. (Gastrock) Axelson, 73, of West Mifflin entered into eternal rest on Thursday, November 21, 2024 at Walden's View Personal Care, North Huntingdon. Born in Homestead, August 25, 1951, she was the daughter of the late Franklin L. and Hazel M. (Evans) Gastrock. Mrs. Axelson was a member of the Homeville Christian Church, West Mifflin and a retired cashier of the Duquesne Village Foodland. Beloved wife of the late John A. Axelson, she is survived by a loving daughter, Heather D. Axelson (Joshua Carmino), a sister, Hazel (Joe) Kuzma and several nieces and nephews including Joe Kuzma Jr., Keith Kuzma, Dylan Kuzma, Savannah (Damein) Kuzma and Chelsea Kuzma. In addition to her parents and husband she was also preceded in death by a brother, Franklin Gastrock Jr.
Family and friends will be received from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. on Sunday, November 24, 2024 in the William S. Skovranko Memorial Home inc., 828 Richford Street, Duquesne. Funeral services will be conducted by Pastor Shawn Mitchell on Monday, November 25, 2024 in the Homeville Christian Church at 11 A.M.. Interment will follow in Jefferson Memorial Park, Pleasant Hills.
