Ronald Lee Given, 75, of East McKeesport, died Saturday, December 14, 2024, at home. He was born July 19, 1949 in North Versailles, a son of the late Alexander and Gertrude (Jenkins) Given and was also preceded in death by his brother David Given. Ron had worked for U.S. Steel and then finished his career with the U.S. Postal Service. He was a Navy veteran of the Vietnam Conflict and a member of the VFW Hilltopper Post 8430 and the White Oak American Legion Post 701. Back in the day he enjoyed playing tennis and golf. He is survived by his wife Maria A. Given; his children Heather M. Barish and her husband Thomas Bostedo and Ron Given; his grandchildren Glenn Turok, David Barish, Alex Barish, Abbegayle Bostedo, Jackson Given and Samuel given; his great grandchildren Emma, maverick, Magnolia, Josephine, and Jameson; and a sister Donna Given. Friends will be received from Noon to 2 p.m. and 4 to 6 p.m. Wednesday, December 18, at the Forgie-Snyder Funeral Home, 1032 Broadway, East McKeesport.
