Theodore G. Leriotis, 88, of Monroeville, died peacefully on Sunday, March 16, 2025, surrounded by his family. He was born December 18, 1936, in McKeesport, a son of the late George and Helen (Valgas) Leriotis and was also preceded in death by his wife Loretta A. (Acalotto) Leriotis and his brother James G. Leriotis. Before retirement Ted was a self-employed sales representative operating Leriotis Associates alongside his brother Jim. Ted was a people person and missed the daily interactions after retirement. To keep busy, he worked part-time at a local furniture store and later worked as a greeter for Snyder Funeral Home. He enjoyed golfing with friends and his wife, Loretta, at Willowbrook Golf Club. He adored his wife, daughters, and grandchildren and loved all his pets, especially his cat Winston. Ted’s other hobbies included working out at the gym and enjoying weekly lunch gatherings with his friends.
He is survived by his daughters Lisa Blevins (Al) and Beth Clair (Tim); his grandchildren Albert Blevins, Taylor Stillings (Chandler), Ryan Clair, and Logan Clair; sisters in law Linda Leriotis, and Isabelle, Felicia, and Anita Acalotto; also, numerous nieces and nephews. Friends will be received from Noon to 4 p.m. Saturday, March 22, at the William Snyder Funeral Home, 521 Main Street, Irwin. A funeral service will be held at 4 p.m. in the funeral home.
