Donald J. Sivak, age 92, of White Oak, died April 6, 2025, at UPMC East. Born March 26, 1933, in McKeesport, he was the son of the late Michael and Mary (Feltz) Sivak and husband of the late Elizabeth (Poje) Sivak.

Donald was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force, serving his country during the Korean War with honor and distinction. After his military service, he worked diligently at the U.S. Steel National Tube Works before retiring and then working as a gas station attendant at the B.P. of Rainbow Village. His unwavering work ethic and commitment to his responsibilities made a lasting impact on those who knew him.

A long-time member of Mary Mother of God Parish, Donald was an active participant in his faith community, embracing the values of service and kindness. He also contributed to his local community as a member of the White Oak American Legion Post #701, where he fostered camaraderie among fellow veterans.

A devoted fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers, Donald was never shy about displaying his team spirit. Sundays were often spent cheering on his favorite team. He also found joy in the classics, with a particular fondness for old war movies. Donald had an immeasurable love for his Cocker Spaniel dogs, the late Fred and Jake, his faithful companions who brought joy and comfort to his everyday life. His most cherished moments were spent surrounded by his family, creating memories they will carry forever.

Donald is survived by his daughter, Terri (Todd) Ross of White Oak; sons, Donald Scott Sivak of White Oak, and Kenneth Sivak of North Huntington; grandsons, Evan Michael Sivak and Zachary Ryan Sivak; sister, May Jensen of Latrobe; also nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and friends.

In addition to his parents and wife, he was also preceded in death by his sister, Dolores Knox.

Family and friends will be received at Jaycox-Jaworski Funeral Home & Crematory on Thursday, April 10, 2025, from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Funeral Service will held at Corpus Christi Church on Friday, April 11, 2025, at 10 a.m., Committal Prayers, military honors, and burial will immediately follow in Penn Lincoln Memorial Park Cemetery.
